Hi, I’m Sandy, and welcome to Caldos y Gatos!
I named my shop after two things I love—making soups (caldos) and my three adorable cats. But this isn’t just a shop—it’s my journey.
In my darkest days, praying the Rosary saved my life. Now I make handmade rosaries filled with faith, love, and a little fashion.
I work full-time, also a part-time, and go to school, and create these pieces whenever I can. Your support helps me keep going—and helps me finish my book about how God led me back to the faith of my abuelitos.

Founded by Sandra Isabel Hernandez, Caldos y Gatos is more than a rosary shop—it’s a story of healing, faith, and devotion.
Named after her love for comforting soups (caldos) and her three beloved cats, Sandy’s creations are inspired by her personal journey. Raised by her abuelitos, she drifted from her faith after discovering they weren’t her biological parents. Years of loss and searching followed, but through prayer—especially the Rosary—she found peace.
A dream of Mother Mary whispering “No estás sola, mija” brought her back to the faith of her childhood. Now, Sandy handcrafts rosaries that reflect her love for God, her heritage, and her hope to be reunited with her loved ones in glory.
